My Story
Since 2006, I have provided financial analysis for companies I have worked for in various industries. Each of those companies utilized well-known ERP systems, however most of the analysis was performed as an extraction into Microsoft Excel. The main staples of accounting/finance, the Balance Sheet (Statement of Financial Position), Income Statement (Profit and Loss), and Statement of Cash Flows would all be reports that can be run, but they were not interactive. As those companies grew, the need for various Ad Hoc reports grew, which would necessitate a deeper dive into the numbers to identify additional trends driving the numbers.
